All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association (ANPWDFWA) has reiterated its demand for regularization of Work-Charge (W/C) employees and Revision of Pay (RoP).
In a press release, All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association president Inakhu Aye and general secretary K. Atovi Awomi said despite several assurances, the state government has failed to fulfill them.
The association reminded the commitment made by NPF in its 2003 election manifesto which stated senior W/C employees were entitled to their service regularization and also mentioned the gross violation of Gauhati High Court order dated March 5, 2012.
All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association said the chief minister before contesting the Lok Sabha election should address the grievances of the W/C employees.
All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association also extended its support to All Nagaland Inter-Departmental Field Staff Association Joint Forum’s decision to serve a seven-day ultimatum to the government and its call for preparing for a proposed agitation.
