Troops of 23 Assam Rifles (AR) apprehended an armed cadre of FGN from Tuensang market on March 5.
According an AR press release, the cadre on seeing the AR troops tried to escape and was nabbed after a short chase. The cadre was found in possession of a pistol. The arrested person has been identified as T. Mushiu Meyo, a resident of Yakao. He has been handed over to the police in Tuensang.
