Power supply in parts of Dimapur would be interrupted on January 22 due to “jungle cutting” operation and maintenance work to be carried out at 132kV sub-station Nagarjan and 33kV sub-station at Metha Colony and Industrial Estate.
According to a press release Sunday issued by Dimapur electrical Circle (DEC) Superintending Engineer (SE) Er. G. Chishi, the areas to be affected are – Rangapahar, Sewak Complex, Lotha Colony, Oriental Colony, Rio Colony, DC Court area, Church Road, New Market, G.S. Road, Marwari Patti area, Midland, Khermahal area, NST Colony, supply Colony area, Fellowship Colony area, Notun Basti area and Circular Road area.
