State BJP says PR would be conducive for pol solution

BJP state unit vice president Johny G. Rengma while reiterating that president’s rule in the state was inevitability Wednesday said that imposition of president’s rule in the state would be conducive for bringing about a political solution to the Naga issue.

Talking to Nagaland Post, Rengma said NPF’s commitment to pave the way for arriving at a solution sounded like the Congress party’s “crocodile tears” on the Naga issue over the last 60 years. Rengma said when both the houses of parliament passed a resolution on bringing about a solution to Naga political issue, any incumbent government in Nagaland would cease its legitimacy to continue in the office even if they wanted to.

The state BJP leader also if NPF was committed to solution, the party legislators should first relinquish office.
