Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Chumukedima conducted a literary competition October 9 and 10 with 13th NAP (IR) Bn deputy commandant Y. Ruth Murru as chief guest and GHSS, Chumukedima principal Limadangit Jamir as speaker.
Altogether, 44 participants took part in painting competition, held on the theme “Save planet earth”, six participants in poem recitation on “The tree cries out” by Wetshokhrolo Lasuh, eight in extempore speech and ten in prepared speech.
The winners in painting competition, poem recitation, extempore speech and prepared speech were Hime (class 8), Sunepmongla (class 6), Uma (class 11) and Ngophong (class 9A) respectively.
