TCC&I will be organizing an entertainment event in aid of ICU building construction for Tuensang District Hospital on September 30, at local ground Tuensang, 5 p.m.
A press release from TCC&I president, L Dorothy stated that the decision to organize this event was made at a September 15 meeting held at District Hospital Tuensang with DIG 7 sector Assam Rifles, medical superintendent of District Hospital and Tuensang Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
In the meeting the site for ICU construction was approved by the medical department.
Also it was decided that the necessary equipment required for the ICU will be provided by the medical department, and the necessary equipment required for the ICU will be provided by the 40th Assam Rifles Tuensang, and the construction of ICU building will be initiated by the TCC&I.
Inviting each and every citizen of Tuensang to attend the event, TCC&I said that unless the citizens of Tuensang come forward to make contributions for the common cause, “we would be deprived of getting medical facility that can save a life.”
TCC&I also thanked Brig. Suresh Kumar Sheoran, DIG along with Col. AH Khan 7th sector AR for visiting their chamber office and interacting with the business community of Tuensang.
