Kidima Catholic Juniors’ Association (KCJA) Day 2018 was celebrated with Reverend Father Raymond D’Souza, director of Eden Garden and Children’s Home, Khuzama as main celebrant, on the theme “For there is nothing that God cannot do”, from September 15 to 16 at the church premises.
A press release from KCJA stated that Rev. Fr. Raymond urged the children to go to Jesus as He loves children and blesses them. He also appealed to the parents to bring their children to church and receive blessings with providential love.
Sister Sulahele Teresa Kintso, the first nun amongst Kidima Catholic community, as the guest speaker, asked the children to obey and love their parents.
The two-day celebration was filled with competitions like solo, duet, quartet, double quartet, and Bible recitation. Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels along with well-wishers joined in the sacred celebration. Two groups –St Andrew and St Thomas competed for the prizes. Kelevinu Zita, Vizobinu Rita, Hovita Simon Peter and Kehonozo Paul were the panel for the competitions.
