
Dimapur police have arrested three persons in connection with the firing incident at Riven Honda showroom, River Belt colony Dimapur on November 20, 2018.
According to Dimapur Police PRO, the three have been remanded in police custody for further interrogation. In connection with the firing incident, a case was registered with West police station.
It may be mentioned that Public Action Committee (PAC) of the Naga Council Dimapur had served a 7-day deadline on the state government to effect immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the November 20 shooting incident, failing which it had threatened to impose a 12-hour complete bandh in Dimapur district from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 30.
Extortion from Church construction site: Meanwhile, Dimapur police on November 26 arrested one person identified as Kughato Swu (31), of Khehokhu village, under Dimapur district on charges of extorting from a Church construction site in Dimapur town.
Dimapur police PRO in a press note stated that a case has been registered with Diphupar Police station for further investigation.
