Minister, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Metsubo Jamir along with KMC administrator, ADC Kohima and ANTA president inspected the designated parking areas in Kohima on Tuesday.
According to official press release, the inspection was carried out in view of the increasing traffic congestion in the state capital and keeping in mind the oncoming Hornbill Festival. The minister also expressed concern on the untold hardships faced by public due to increasing traffic jams and parking problems in the state capital. He said that the only solution was to have more designated parking areas in the state capital.
