Nagaland University Teachers Association (NUTA) Tuesday announced closure of all Nagaland University academic departments in the four campuses (Lumami Hq. Kohima Campus, Meriema, SASRD Medziphema and School of Engineering, Dimapur Campus) on March 6, 2019.
In a press release, CEC NUTA president Prof. Rosemary Dzuvichu and secretary general Prof. D Kuolie said the observance of closure was in solidarity with Federation of Central Universities Teachers Association (FEDCUTA) and its demand for an Ordinance for the 200 point reservation roster in all central universities and colleges in the country. Nagaland University Teachers Association informed that there would be total bandh of academic work to register the protest of teachers against the present reservation roster.
