Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE) Dimapur organized its 5th Food Fest under the theme, “Good food is good mood” on March 16 at the College Campus.
A press release by UCTE stated that the day was initiated by the class representative. The students were divided into ten groups for the fest, and each group prepared a variety of dishes covering starters, the main course and dessert.
It stated that the food fest reflected the importance of food, not only as a source of nutrients, but also as an image mirroring culture and identity and to keep student-teachers and their teachers healthy. The day concluded with announcement of the winners.
