Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of Dimapur Wednesday reaffirmed to stand by the October 31, 2013 resolution “One government, one tax.”
The decision was made during an emergency meeting called by the Public Action Committee (PAC) of NCD along with all tribal hohos and representatives of NCD, DUCCF, DCCI, NWHD, BAN, DNSU, GBs Union and non-Naga at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur.
In a press note, PAC media cell informed that the meeting was called aftermath of the November 10 meeting at ‘Oking’ between NCD and NNPGs. The house also expressed appreciation and satisfaction with the PAC’s activities and assured to continue extending full support to the PAC.
PAC and Working Committee (WC), NNPGs held a joint meeting on Sunday to deliberate on the issue arising out of communication gap, misconception and misunderstanding between PAC and WC over the PAC drive against unabated and multiple gate collections.
