While expressing displeasure on absence of HoDs at concerned offices, the Tizit Area Students’ Union (TASU) cautioned that it would “lock the office permanently” if the departmental heads do not reach their posting place within a week’s time.

A press release from Tizit Area Students’ Union president James Konyak and general secretary, Atzing Konyak stated that, none of the HoDs had reported so far to concerned offices as directed and notified by chief secretary of Nagaland. Tizit Area Students’ Union pointed out that because of the absence of departmental head in station during “a pandemic crisis”, people of Tizit were facing lot of problems with the shortage of government staff.
Further, the union stated that, it would not be held responsible if any incident take place in this course of action.
