
In a move to gradually re-open economic activities in Dimapur, the District Task Force members, Dimapur Monday charted out the action plan to be implemented in Dimapur.
At the meeting convened by deputy commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Khinchi in the presence of commissioner of police Dimapur, R. Tetseo and other officials here on Monday, the following was plan proposed:
* Buses/passenger vehicles should not be allowed to ply until June 30. However, taxis, autorickshaws may be allowed to ply on odd/even system with maximum 2 passengers.
* Main markets to open phase-wise: With regard to opening of Hongkong market and New Market, it was decided that basing on the mechanism devised by DMC to open in stages, it is suggested that shops may be opened phase wise in compliance with the protocols and norms of COVID 19.
* Marketing complexes/malls may be allowed to open with strict social distancing and restriction of limited number of customers at a time.
* Barber shops/salons not allowed to open for a month
* Public toilets should be opened as most of the business establishments are open; Sanitising of trucks/vehicles at check gates will continue for a month.
* Manipur bound trucks/buses allowed to ply with implementation of regulations
