Urban Development Department, Swachh Bharat Mission (U), Kohima, joint secretary and MD, Elizabeth Ngully informed that, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, India had conducted sanitation survey in all the 4300 ULBs across the country out of which 129 cities/towns have been selected for receiving sanitation awards. In this regard, the PM Modi will declare the result and give away the awards on August 20, 11 a.m through virtual event.
