The first advent Christmas celebration was held at Kuki Christian Church (KCC) Jalukie on December 6, at KCC Jalukie under the theme “Chungnung Pena Pathen Loupi Hen” Lk. 2:14, to brighten the Christmas with togetherness, joy and religious fervor in and around Jalukie valley.
A press release by KCC secretary worship & youth affairs, Seiminngam Chongloi, stated that, the programme was dedicated by KCC Jalukie pastor Nehkholal Simte. Speaker of the celebration senior pastor, KCC Nagaland Synod Rev. K. Singsit delivered Christmas message while KCC Nagaland Synod executive secretary Chungpao Khongsai and CGKCC chairman Tonga Hangsing also encouraged and motivated the congregation. Vote of thanks was delivered by Kuki Christian Church Jalukie church secretary Seilam Khongsai, and benediction by CGKCC secretary pastor Lenkhokam Hangsing. Highlights of programme included singing hymnal, Bible recitation, singing competition, advent Christmas gift exchange and Lenkhom Lam. Invitees, well wishers, head deacons and church secretaries of different churches attended.
