NFHRCC convenes emergency meeting on Dec 9

The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has convened an emergency meeting on December 9, 3 p.m at its base office, Khermahal, Dimapur. All tribal members have been requested to attend the meeting positively. 

A press release by NFHRCC convenor Subu Jamir, general secretary W. Lemba Chang and assistant general secretary, Chenithung Humtsoe stated that, a team of NFHRCC members had called on dy. chief minister Yanthungo Patton at his official residence, Kohima on December 5. The team apprised him of the urgency in keeping the foothills road pliable at least during the winter season for the greater interest of Naga public. Y. Patton assured the team of directing concerned department to explore the ground reality at the earliest and would also consult with chief minister since it would require additional budgetary involvement.
