ZWSK celebrates 25th anniversary

Zapami Welfare Society Kohima (ZWSK) celebrated its 25th anniversary at Para Medical Colony, Kohima with minister, planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs, Neiba Kronu as special guest who inaugurated the ZWSK building.

Addressing the gathering, the minister lauded Zapami community for their diligence, hard work and sincere outlook, thereby joining the path of success in different fields.

He expressed happiness over Zapami community preserving rich culture and traditions through setting up of museum at Zapami village.

Stressing on the need to involve in the agricultural activities with seriousness, he assured the farming community that market linkages would be taken care by the government wherever possible.

Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) president Mikha Kenye and Zapami village council chairman Zewekha Wetsah also spoke on the occasion.

The anniversary celebration programme was led by Neisa Wetsah while welcome address was delivered by ZWSK chairman Lhiwekulo Kenye.

ZWSK building committee convenor, Er. Lhiwepe Khutso and ZWSK general secretary Wepre Wetsah presented their respective reports.

Meanwhile, vote of thanks was proposed by ZWSK vice chairman David Khutso.
