DIMAPUR: Eastern Sumi Hoho (ESH) has appealed to the state government to evade the transfer of district administrations, doctors and nurses.
In a press release, ESH vice president H. Phutoi Sumi and general secretary Robert Heetosaid that even if transfer was unavoidable, the replacements have to be posted at the shortest period “during this emergency situation who are working tirelessly as frontline warriors”.
The ESH also urged upon the state government to recruit to those posts lying vacant with the retirement of many staffs under the medical department so that the concern department do not face shortage of staff during the pandemic.
Further, ESH appealed to the general public to act as responsible people and that the present pandemic situation could be contained effectively “only when we extend ones best cooperation to the frontline warriors” by strictly observing SOPs and remaining vigilant.
