Government of India, MGNCRE, ministry of education recognised and awarded Unity college the “district green champion of Dimapur” for the academic year 2020-21.
In a press release, HR assistant of the college informed that the college received the “one district one institute green champion award” from DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan.
The award was presented for implementation of best practices in the area of sanitation, hygiene, waste management, water management, energy management and greenery management.
A webinar was conducted by MGNCRE team where DC encouraged the stakeholders and every citizen for a collective responsibility towards maintaining a clean environment.
He also asked everyone to understand that along with rights, they should not forget their duties toward the nation.
The webinar was attended by principals and faculty of various colleges across the state.
