St. John’s School (SHS) Kohima annual “Johnian spelling championship” was held on Saturday under the theme “quest for excellence” with the school headmistress, Khriezolenuo Sekhose as guest of honour. Tiasola Tzudir of class VIII was declared “Johnian Spelling Master 2017” and won Reiphinyü Sekhose ever rolling memorial trophy. The award also carries a citation certificate of Johnian spelling master and scholarship for the year 2018. The competition was held under the aegis of English department and witnessed by parents, invitees, students and teachers.
