Felicitation programmes for the newly elected legislators continue to be organised by respective departments.
DoE: Department of Evaluation organised a felicitation programme for advisor, information technology & communication, economics & statistics and evaluation, Sethrongkyu at Directorate Conference Hall, Kohima, Tuesday.
In his speech, Sethrongkyu emphasised on the sincerity of employee in discharging one’s assigned duty so as to assist the government in serving the people of the state.
Additional director, B.Rendysowa Ao highlighted the main activities of the department.
The programme was chaired by joint director, Renchamo Odyuo, welcome address and felicitation was delivered by director, I. Sentinuklu Jamir and word of gratitude by evaluation officer, Shellem.
DoTE: Department of Technical Education (DoTE) organised a felicitation programme in honour of advisor for transport and technical education, Temjenmenba on April 3 at the Directorate Auditorium, Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, in his speech, Temjenmenba stressed on the importance of technical education in the state and its vital role in creating employability opportunities for diploma pass-out students. He urged the department to apply critical thought processes in planning and execution of various program to achieve larger goals. Temjenmenba reminded the department to focus more on research and development, placement of students and partnering with private players.
During the programme, director, technical education, Er. Vipulhou Lhoungu highlighted the various activities and programs of the department. The programme was chaired by commissioner and secretary, higher & technical education, Kenilo Apon, while vote of thanks was proposed by additional director, Tiakaba Amer. The program was attended by joint secretary, higher and technical education, principals of the polytechnics and the officers and staff from the directorate of technical education.
NLA: A felicitation programme for Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer was organised by the officers and staff of NLA secretariat on April 3 at the Conference Hall, Assembly Secretariat.
