Dimapur Sümi Students Union (DSSU) held its third annual sports meet on Friday at Dimapur Government College ground, under the theme “One Team One Dream”.
Addressing the gathering as the special guest, vice president, Nagaland Football Association, Mughato Sumi, said that God has blessed Sumis in many ways while encouraging the gathering not to take sports as a hobby and urged them to be wise in the advance world.
Mughato maintained that education alone was not enough for students and said that students should also focus in the field of sports, which helps them to be discipline.
He further urged all gathering to be good citizen and help Naga society grow.
A short speech was also delivered by president, Western Sumi Students Union (WSSU), Kabo Zhimomi and presidential address was delivered by president DSSU, Vitoka N Rochill.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Alakhu Kipeu, invocation was offered by vice president, Phukahe Awomi, special number was presented by Hukali Rochil, while dedicatory prayer was offered by asst Youth Pastor DSBC, Tovikali Shohe.
