Football Association Tseminyu District (FATD) organised its first Futsal tournament 2023 at RIGA’s Astro turf, New Terogvunyu Village. The inaugural function of the two-day tournament was held on April 28.
Presenting the scope of Futsal, joint secretary FATD, Hinumo Thong note, Sr. vice president FATD, Shakelo Thong said that football as a game has a good scope for profession and encouraged the players to take up the game with commitment, dedication and perseverance.
Altogether, 19 teams registered for the tournament and the game will culminate on April 29.
The programme was chaired by general secretary FATD, Asao Seb, introductory note was delivered by Sr. vice president FATD, Shakelo Thong,
FATD anthem “March for Victory” was tuned in the presence of all the players and spectators following which dedicatory prayer was offered by pastor TTBC, Athonglo Khing.
