Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) has appealed to the state government to bring out the yearly work programmes and suggested that the best performing department be awarded on regular basis.
In a press statement, NSCU president, Pele Khezhie and general secretary, John Kath expressed concern on the problem faced by the educated unemployed Naga youths as job opportunities in government sectors have almost exhausted and more educated unemployed youths were approaching for registration with the NCSU for self-employment avenues.
In this regard, the NCSU appealed to the government to redress the plights of the bona fide members through proper award of contract and supply works.
The union expressed the hope that the state government headed by chief minister Neiphiu Rio will bring in more developments throughout the state based on justice and impartiality.
