Truck Owner Association, Private Bus Union and All Nagaland Taxi Association Mokokchung Unit have appealed to the deputy commissioner and returning officer Mokokchung to release the payments of those requisitioned vehicles used in the election.
In a letter to deputy commissioner, the three bodies said that various vehicles requisitioned both private and commercial for the 14th NLA election have not received payments. They therefore appealed to the authorities to release the payments as “to mitigate the sufferings of those owners/drivers whose vehicles were requisitioned”.
