NSCN (I-M) conveys condolences

The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim has deeply mourned the demise of ‘major’ Bendang Jamir (Army No. KL-20147), son of Moa Jamir of Mangmetong village (Ao region) of the General Head Quarters, Naga Army, who breathed his last at Eden Hospital, Dimapur on July 25 after a prolonged illness while in service to the nation. 

A condolence message from NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that late Bendang had joined the national service on February 2, 1994. It stated that he had remained loyal and dedicated to the national service until his demise and his contribution to the national cause would be cherished.
The condolence note also stated that the office of the Longvibu, Naga Army, paying homage and as a mark of tribute to the departed Naga army officer, has bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of ‘lieutenant colonel’. 
NSCN (I-M) further extended its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty God give the departed eternal peace.
