Formalin-fish issue: Andhra officials to visit Nagaland

Two top officials from Andhra Pradesh will pay a two-day visit to Nagaland soon to discuss the matter related to ban of formalin treated fishes, detected recently by state health officials.

Official sources said, the two officials from the department of Fisheries of the Andhra Pradesh Government will arrive in the state capital Kohima on a two-day visit and meet officials from the state health department and discuss the formalin treated fishes, mostly imported from Andhra Pradesh.

The two officials are commissioner of fisheries Rama Sankar Naik and deputy director of fisheries Dhanunjaya of Andhra Pradesh. 

The two officials have also visited Assam and Meghalaya and discussed the issue with their counterparts and health officials.
