In response to a request from Rajya Sabha MP S Phangnon Konyak, the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 3 lakh to support the renal transplant expenses of Lipokjungshi S Jamir, a resident of Mokokchung.
In a letter dated July 18, 2024, Phangnon appealed to the Prime Minister for assistance, which has now been approved. “…A grant of Rs. 3 lakh from PMNRF to partially defray the expenses involved in the renal transplant is sanctioned in-principle,” the Prime Minister’s Office wrote to the treasurer of CMC Vellore where Lipokjungshi is undergoing treatment.
Expressing her gratitude, the MP highlighted the Prime Minister’s commitment to the Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas vision, emphasizing how his compassionate leadership is transforming lives across the nation.
