Ministry of Home Affairs advisor (North East), AK Mishra, met with leaders of various Naga Political Groups (NPGs) in Dimapur on Friday. Sources said Mishra held a closed-door meeting with NSCN (I-M) leaders, including ato kilonser Th. Muivah, vice president Tongmeth Wangnao, and other senior members. Both sides reportedly agreed to resume talks at the earliest.
He also met NSCN/GPRN (K) president Niki Sumi, who was accompanied by senior leaders, and NSCN/GPRN (K) president Khango Konyak and ato kilonser Hukato Vusshe, before leaving for Delhi. On Thursday, a delegation of WC, NNPG led by convener MB Neokpao, and working conveners P Tikhak Naga and Isak Sumi, along with others also met Mishra.
