The 2nd Inter-School Football and Volleyball Tournament between GMS Aradhura Leirie Chazou, GMS New Ministers’ Hill, GMS Officers’ Hill, and GMS Merhulietsa (GMS: N-O-M-A) was held today at the Phesama village football ground, bringing together young athletes for a spirited day of competition and sportsmanship.
In the Boys’ Football final, GMS Officers’ Hill emerged victorious after defeating GMS Merhulietsa with a thrilling 3-2 scoreline. The Girls’ Volleyball competition also saw intense action, with GMS Officers’ Hill retaining the championship title by defeating GMS Merhulietsa in the final match.
Earlier the ceremony was chaired by Shyerhunle Kent and invocation was pronounced by Vibeizou. Head teacher, GMS Officers’ Hill, Mimi Yhoshu delivered a short speech while the vote of thanks was delivered by Rieto Linus Chasie.
In the prize distribution ceremony, head teacher of GMS Merhulietsa, Kiviholi T Yeptho, presented certificates to the winning teams in recognition of their hard work and dedication throughout the competition.
