A free oral screening and dental check-up camp was conducted at the 4th NAP Battalion headquarters, Thizama, where around 100 personnel and local residents were benefitted.
Spearheaded by Dr K & T Keditsu Foundation, with support from BIOCON Foundation and in collaboration with the Dental Department of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), the initiative aimed to raise awareness and facilitate early detection of oral diseases, particularly in areas with limited access to regular dental care.
According to Dy Comdt & PRO, 4th NAP Bn, Thizama, Limaonen, the camp was designed to provide essential oral health services to the community.
The medical team comprised of Dr. Neiphrezo Sorunuo, Dr. Mezhuleno, and Dr. Mhonrenli Yanthan from NHAK, alongside Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu, Cancer Surgeon from Dr K & T Keditsu Foundation.
Participants received complimentary oral screenings, dental check-ups, and minor procedures during the one-day program, furthering efforts to promote accessible healthcare.
