Sogotsumia Welfare Society, Chiechama Village organized its first Sogotsumia’s Day on December 15 at Chiechama Village with Beiu Sogotsu, DC of Kohima District as Chief Guest.
Host of Sogotsumias from Chiechama, Zhadima and Teichüma village including Kasha group (Rengma), besides a host of village leader, church leader and well wishers attended the programme.
Short speeches were delivered by Rev. Neingulie Dzeyie and Rev. Fr. Keduolhou George Dzeyie. Others who spoke at the function include Neitso Sogotsu and members of Kasha group from Rengma tribe. Vote of thanks was delivered by Rü-u Sogotsu, GB of Sogotsu Khel, Chiechama Village.The session was chaired by Neitso Sogotsu, president of Sogotsumia and Medo-u Dzeyie and Dr. Neikeyielie Theünuo presented the report of general secretary and treasurer respectively.
