Pungro GBs’ plea

GBs and public elders of Pungro Sub-Division have appealed the GPRN/NSCN (K) authorities to release the GBs, VCC(s), VCM(s), VDB secretaries from Longkhimvong, Khong, Khongjiri and Mimi Villages under Pungro Sub-Division, within three days from the date of issue of the appeal. President, GBs Union Pungro Sub-Division, T. Musumong in a press release stated that the GBs and others were kidnapped by GPRN/NSCN (K), Tisary Region under the directive of Kurechu, chairman, Tisary Region and commanded by Lopongwu on September 21, “without any rhyme and reason” from their respective villages. The GBs and public cautioned that Yimchungers as a whole would not give co-operation to the GPRN/NSCN (K) if the latter failed to heed to the appeal.
