Association of Power Engineers (APEN) has informed that seizure of executive powers delegated to the chief engineer (Power) by a Government order dated April 26, 2008, resulted in “procedural delays hampering in delivery of prompt services to the public.” APEN in a press release issued by its president Er. TS Angami and general secretary Er. Tiameren Walling therefore, appealed the public not to hold the officers of the department responsible for “any situation arising out of the above.”
