In a freak accident, a jawan of 1 NAP posted at Safdarjung Airport, Delhi, was run over by a train while he was on his way to send money to his family. According to sources, the victim identified as Hendikup Kuki was crossing the railway track without noticing the oncoming train. The body of the jawan was later identified and after completing all formalities, the body was sent to his hometown, Imphal.
