Two NSCN-K activists were reportedly apprehended and a huge cache of arms and ammunition seized from their possession by the Assam Rifles during a raid in Forest Colony during the wee hours a Friday. According to sources, the two NSCN-K men were identified as one Vihele (Tatar) hailing from Rusoma village and Peter (Sectional Officer) hailing from Rabunamei village under Senapati district. The seized weapons included, one M-16, one AK, five Pistols, one SBBL and huge rounds of assorted ammunition. The raid was reportedly conducted at around 3 am. The apprehended cadres were later handed over to the South Police Station.
