A 12-hour Assam bandh has been called June 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., by Krishak Sangram Samittee in protest against the arrest of Akhil Gogoi by Assam police. DIO (NIC), Mokokchung & BPCC (Assam-Nagaland) coordinator Er. Temsu Wathi Ao in a statement advised travellers from Nagaland not to travel specifically in the districts of Golaghat, Jorhat, Sivasagar and Karbi Anglong during the bandh.
