DRDA Tsg gets new office building

In yet another development, the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Tuensang got new office building, which was formally inaugurated by the parliamentary secretary for Rural Development & REPA, S. Pangnyu Phom on September 24 at Tuensang.
Speaking on the occasion, Pangnyu said that DRDA initiates to give a ‘better life’ to individual and families in the rural village, especially at the grass root level. The Agency is the tool and instrument through which the policies of the government will be implemented, he said and emphasized ‘commitment and devotion’ of duty as essential qualities of a DRDA employee.
The parliamentary secretary also urged the department to dispense justice to the development of rural people with utmost importance inorder to improve the conditions of the weaker section of the society.
He also called upon the people of Tuensang and the department of Rural Development to join hands in order to set an example to the people of Nagaland in general and Tuensang in particular that the department of Rural Development is a working department.
Earlier the dedication of new office building was lead by Dr. T.Yanger Pastor, Sangtam Baptist Church Tuensang Town.
