Annual Johnian Song Fest 2008 of St. John’s School, Kohima was held on September 26 at the school premises with Rev. Fr. Bosco SDB, principal, Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Kohima as the chief guest in a simple yet impressive function.
The children displayed their talents in singing in varieties. It was well conducted with the help of the teachers and amused all the parents, well wishers who had gathered for the programme.
A release issued by the administrator said the chief guest while addressing appreciated with admiration the ‘marvelous things/items’ performed the school within a span of short time. Inorder to be successful in life, he exhorted the students to have the guidance of ‘God, parent and teacher’ in every walk of their life and also blessed the school.
The highlights of the day included Johnian Choir, Class choir along with other programmes. Francis and Micheal accompanied the children with their music, sound system was engineered by Taku, while Janet anchored the programme. The Johnian Song Fest 2008 concluded with choral presentation by all the students.
