Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has congratulated Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi for their role in clinching the historic Indo-US nuclear deal. NPCC president K V Pusa, MLA, in a letter addressed to the Prime Minister said “the agreement has become a reality because of your strong conviction, mind and vision which have taken country to greater heights with a clear conscience and in the best interests of the nation.” In a separate letter to Sonia Gandhi, Pusa lauded the Congress president for her “unwavering leadership,” which enabled the country to clinch the nuclear deal.
