Voluntary Blood Donation Day was observed at Wokha on the theme “Donate Blood, Save Life” jointly organized by DAPCU, NRHM, RRC of Mt. Tiyi & Bailey Baptist College, at CMO conference hall.
Shaying Sheu, EAC sadar, guest speaker stressed upon commitment from healthy individuals to become regular voluntary blood donors. He also exhorted the participant to come forward and donate blood as blood cannot be substituted.
Lichumo Odyuo DIS spoke on significance of observance of the day while Benthungo Yanthan Speaker KSU gave the motivational speech where he highlighted regarding various information about blood donation.
The program was chaired by Robin President CYSA while vote of thanks was conveyed by Renbenthung Murry M&E DAPCU.
