DIMAPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tuensang and Eleutheros Christian Society jointly organised a farmers’ clubs- expert meet and training on IPM on Kharif Cereals at Sangshen under the co-sponsorship of NABARD on April 15.
Participants from various Farmers’ Club attended the programme.
Haku Keaku, development coordinator, Chang Baptist Church Association shared about the importance and necessity of IPM system for the present agriculture scenario to boost up the crop production.
Resource person for the training Ruopf?selhou Kehie, subject matter specialist, KVK, gave power point presentations on different tool and component of IPM packages for kharif cereals, followed by farmers scientist interaction. Altogether, 56 framers from three villages participated in the programme.
