TR first cabinet minister to visit Tsiepama

KOHIMA: Tsiepama village was the first ever village to be visted by a cabinet minister, T.R Zeliang, minister for planning and coordination, veterinary and animal husbandry on April 16. The minister during his visit inaugurated the village gate, which was sponsored and constructed by contractor Thepfuselie Makritsu.
Tsiepama village consist of 298 households with a population of 1511 and is the oldest villages in Dimapur district with an area of about 500 Sq.km, 126 government servants and 82graduate and post graduate. 
As reported earlier, Vikeyie Chalieu was the first matriculate from Tsiepama village in 1949 and Zasilhoutuo Makritsu as the first graduate in 1963.
