Nagaland Governor P.B. Acharya on the occasion of International Day of Person with Disabilities, appealed to all responsible to join hands and spread awareness to improve the understandings of the people with disability by extending support.
In a press statement issued through PRO Raj Bhavan, the Governor and his wife also hailed all those for their tireless effort rendered for the welfare of the less fortunate who were in need of special attention.
“They are the mentor who went that extra mile in not only teaching and taking care of them, but for having that sincere desire to help, motivate and instil in them the desire to strive and to lead a better life”, Nagaland Governor, P.B Acharya said.
It may be mentioned that the International Day of Person with Disabilities is observed on December 3, all over the world to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
