Wokha Government High School colony council in a meeting held on May 11 adopted several resolutions wherein the council has warned that any student found loitering in the colony, without attending classes during school hours, would be apprehended and handed over to law enforcing agencies.
For this, school principals and headmasters have been requested to disseminate the information to the students.
The council has warned that stern action would be taken against any person caught indulging in anti social activities, alcohol or substance abuse or misbehaving in and around high school ground.
Further, the council has also informed residents of the colony not to litter the surrounding with their household garbage but to dispose the same properly in a compost pit in order to maintain hygiene and cleanliness. This was informed in a press note issued by chairman GHS colony council Nchemo Humtsoe.
Meanwhile, the council has also appreciated Wokha DC Vyasan, Ben Odyuo, contractor and MLA Dr TM Lotha for the successful completion of the Zuvotong Bridge that connect several educational institutions including the district hospital.
The council has also expressed satisfaction at the quality workmanship carried out by the concerned contractor and urged the concerned authority to facilitate towards successful completion of the remaining development projects in the colony.
