Tenyimi students Union Dimapur Government College (TSUDGC) handed over cash and gift items to “Project Care and Hope” under Youngs’ Club Dimapur, on May 10.
TSUDGC earlier organized a buffet cum charity nite in aid of pool fund for the children education support under Project Care & Hope.
It may be mentioned that Project Care & Hope is a home based care support programme including education and nutrition for the children infected and affected with HIV & AIDS and affected by drugs and alcohol families from downtrodden background.
Project Care & Hope under Youngs’ Club Dimapur was launched on January 2012 by Dr. Sukhato Sema, the then CMO, Dimapur, and present additional director, Health & Family Welfare.
Previous year, the team of Project Care & Hope supported nine children through community mobilization and this year the team was looking to support nineteen children through well wishers and of support from the team of TSUDGC.
