Personnel of North police station, Kohima has successively arrested two persons from Nerhema village in connection to looting of Dimapur bound Wokha night bus on the night of August 13 at 10th mile Zhadima Junction.
The arrested have been identified as one Beisao Chadi (27), son of Neivilie Chadi and Roukuosalie Usou (24), son of Thenuoselie both of Nerhema village.
Police recovered three Nokia mobile handset, belonging to passengers and one three-cell torch light used for committing robbery from their possession.
Police on further investigation found out that two accused along with other accomplice were also involved in August 25 incident where four unidentified armed miscreants reportedly robbed off several valuable articles, cash and jewelries from eight Nepali families at Thizama village. The other accomplice was identified as one Dzieserieo Rulhou (26), son of Keduovi also of Nerhema village.
Police further recovered one Phillips Radio, one Yashica Camera and one Muzzle loading gun from their possession.
The three accused have been remanded to police custody and further investigation on.
