Ammunitions seized

Based on specific information about the presence of armed underground cadres, a combined force of police and 26 Assam Rifles Sunday afternoon conducted raids at Aradura Ridge, above Cathedral Kohima, and recovered assorted ammunitions and explosive materials.
Army sources said the combined team recovered 122 live rounds of AK 47, 1 Chinese hand grenade and assorted high explosive materials from an abandoned house.
However, no arrest was made.
The seized ammunitions were later handed over to the police. (Correspondent)
