School Education department has announced holiday for all schools on September 8 (Monday) in commemoration of Teachers’ Day. The department also clarified that the announcement made by Minister for School Education Nyeiwang Konyak on September 5 at Kohima, should be read as “ holiday in all schools in the state” and not Kohima alone. It may be mentioned the All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association had on Saturday demanded holiday for all schools in the State on September 8.
